In addition to the 26 years of experience I possess successfully engaging families experiencing crisis and trauma, I have immense success working with couples and all individuals across the Life Span. I possess strong interpersonal skills and a communicative competence that fosters motivation, from my clients, to aggressively embrace opportunities to confront and change unhealthy thought patterns. I have a direct, yet open and honest approach with my clients, which has proven to evoke necessary focus needed for sustainable change; however, my clinical disposition is warm, friendly, and at times humorous, which helps to foster meaningful dialogue and a clinical environment conducive to emotional strength and overall therapeutic progression. Finally, I am driven to protect an environment that is diverse, inclusive, and centered around unique, yet varied historical experiences and a respect for the intersectionality of identities.
